File-to-fit Fox parts
"These bushings were wider than the shock. This was only by a small amount, but they will not be flush on one side. This slight extra width meant having to file the reducers that insert into them so the shock would fit back in the frame. The press force to remove the old bushings and also to install the new was extreme, and likely far more than needed for them to stay in place in operation. I sanded the O.D. of one to make it a little easier. I also installed new reducers, and, after completion, it all functions with no knocking or squeaking."
