Giro Radix MIPS MTB Helmet

The Radix from Giro has low weight, excellent ventilation and large protection zones. The versatile Roc Loc^® 5 system allows you to adjust the helmet perfectly. The P.O.V.™ visor also offers 15 adjustment options. The robust polycarbonate outer shell is permanently fused to the EPS foam lining using the In-Mold™ process to improve durability and ventilation without adding volume.

In-Mold Construction
In-Mold Construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making in-mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

Roc Loc 5
The industry benchmark in comfort, stability, adjustability and weight savings. In addition to enhancing the fit and comfort of helmets, Roc Loc^® 5 allows you to easily custom tune the fit tension and the fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds using a single hand. Wind Tunnel Ventilation
Giro's helmets are developed utilizing their proprietary Wind Tunnel™ ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet’s shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that thrust fresh, cool air over and around the rider’s head while forcing heat and stale air out. It’s the most effective cooling system available, and a difference you can feel every time you ride.

P.O.V. Plus
The P. O. V. Plus Visor has an adjustment mechanism that allows the visor to be adjusted up and down in 3 steps. In addition, the visor can be pushed up so far that the goggle can be pushed onto the helmet during a break, for example. The adjustment is easy to make with one hand and while driving.
