Convenience

I’ve been using these for years. I run tubes in my bikes, and these are so easy to use. They have saved my rides so many times, and helped others as well. I like to travel light, so I carry a small pump and this tiny box of patches instead of a bulky spare tube.
Of course, it is a temporary fix to enable me to finish a ride or get home, after which I replace with a brand new tube.

Here’s an helpful hack: I also used these patches to repair the buttons on the key fob to my car. The plastic around the buttons was cracking so I split a patch and covered them, and so far it’s kept the button in place and sealed water out of the fob for several years now with daily use.
